DAY 4 (PART 2): Poring Hot Spring & Nature Reserve
After we check in, we proceeded our trip to Poring Hot Spring & Nature Reserve. It is about 40 minutes drive from our hotel/lodge. However, if you want to enjoy hot spring, walk on canopy or search for waterfall, this is a great spot. =)
Entrance to the Poring Hot Spring & Nature Reserve.
A little description of this place at the entrance.
Opening hours are stated here! =)
And Admission Fees! It is all up to you to decide where you want to visit.
Here we go to visit the hot spring! (But we never try it due to time restriction)
The hot springs contain sulphuric mineral which has been deemed to have special healing properties and is famous among the locals. You can have a try if you have enough time. =)
On the way to the hot spring. You can enjoy the nature. River with canopy walk. Pretty. Enjoy fresh air here. Breath Breath Breath.
Hot Spring Area. =)
And trees around. Green is love, as always. <3
NEXT STOP: CANOPY WALK
Canopy walk is a must-visit place in Poring, if you are not afraid of height. The walkway is 157.8 meters long and 41 meters high. And you can enjoy the stroll amidst the lush greenery of the Menggari tree.
Need to climb some staircase to reach the canopy walk.
Some HUGE trees around. I like how the leaves look like in the dark =)
The HUGE trunk. Amazing!
Me at the Canopy Walk - see how tiny is the walkway? Freak out?
ANOTHER STOP: WATERFALL
Kipungit Waterfall is one of the two waterfalls in Poring Hot Spring & Nature Reserve. It is the smaller one, compared to the bigger Langganan Waterfall. Kipungit Waterfall is about 20 minutes away from Canopy Walk, whereas if you want to visit Langganan Waterfall, You need an hour to hike. The trek to Kipungit Waterfall isn't too hard.
Me at the waterfall. Pretty obvious XD
And I really enjoy the water. There are so cold. Please try to walk in the water. Just be careful =)
