KL: Artisan Roast Coffee TTDI

#throwback

Continue from previous post. After having breakfast in Frisky Goat TTDI, we went to Artisan Roast Coffee TTDI to try out the so-called very nice coffee and also meet up with my pharm babes.

When I stepped in the cafe, the coffee aroma really attracted me. Environment is quite nice in this cafe but seating isn't really spacious. Luckily, we went there early in the morning, around 9.50am, and hence we could find a nice spot. =)

Here I am, for freshly roasted coffee

The coffee bar -- like the design of the wall and the friendly cashier.

Coffee-inspired design. Quite nice to me because I really enjoy seeing arts on walls.

And here is my Latte (RM10)! Very convincing latte art and the coffee is a "bomb"!
As good as my expectation. Thumbs up!

KL: Frisky Goat Bakery Cafe, TTDI

#throwback

Visited Frisky Goat Bakery Cafe during my super random and short trip to KL in early June 2014. The main purpose of that trip was to participate in #ieatburgers event in PJ (to read about that event, click HERE)

Million thanks to my kai gor Nicky who fetched me to KL on that day. Thanks for being such a good brother, to join my crazy plan.

Here we are! Frisky Goat @ TTDI --- we're here for breakfast!

Reached KL pretty early and hence we were still early to meet up with my other friends. Hence we took our own sweet time to enjoy the food and environment.

Because there is no place for us to sit inside the cafe, we agreed to be seated outside. HERE.

The Menu with natural lighting =D

The entrance. Love the blue painting -- looks energetic.

Kai gor ordered a mexico bun and it tasted like heaven! OMG. One of the best mexico bun I've tasted. Of course, one would need to pay for the price. This bun is about RM5. =P

We ordered the same dish -- Eggs de Cocotte (RM21.50)

Kedah: Nasi Lemak Ong

Read a few food blogs about this famous Nasi Lemak Stall in Alor Star and I decided to give it a try on a weekend (coz this stall close at 3.30pm and hence it is impossible for me to try on working days).

It is located at Jalan Kampung Perak, right opposite Grand Crystal Hotel. Successfully located this stall using Foursquare. *wink* Waze and Foursquare are like my BFF these days, I need to rely on them when I'm lost or hungry and alone.

Here's the place!

There's a long queue and it didn't surprised me. Coz bloggers have been saying that this stall is famous and nice. Hmmm...... That's why I have to give it a try.

The opening hour of the stall is stated here clearly and this stall is being featured by Ah Xian before. Should be good.

Plenty of choices available for a nasi lemak stall.

Kedah: Qi Tiao Lou 二條路

#throwback

One day, I was hunting for takeaway dinner after work. I've heard about this street -- Qi Tiao Lou (hokkien; 二條路) that has plenty of Chinese hawkers and hence decided to give it a try.

Kinda hard to find parking here. But well, be determined and you will get one. LOL.

And..... I found my favourite Muar Chee ( 麻芝) and it is good! Pandan flavoured. Awww....

Spotted this stall and I'm excited!

I ordered a small one and it is very filling as dessert.

Green Muar Chee. <3

Tadaa! This portion for 2 bucks. Quite acceptable.

Apart from Muar Chee, I also doing a stall that sell buns. Ordered a curry chicken bun and it is quite nice. Just a little oily. RM1.20 for a small bun as shown below.

Subang: The Sherpherdoo Restaurant & Lounge

#throwback

This post is supposed to be updated 2 months ago, but I have too many things to write about my Taiwan Trip and hence it was omitted until today. *Ooppsss*

One City isn't a familiar, nor new place to me. I've been there twice for food, once for Fat Boys'  Burger Bar and the second time for Sherpherdoo. HOWEVER, I haven't been to the rooftop to enjoy the see-through glass floor. =(

Decided to visit Sherpherdoo, as Bunny bought a lot of vouchers and need to spend part of them. Discounted price and good western food, why not?

The Sherpherdoo -- MENU

Each of us ordered a cup of latte. Same taste. *woots*
A bit disappointed because there's no latte art. Tasted OK.

3 of us ordered 5 plates of food to be shared -- with them, I can always show my man-liness. XD

First -- Pollo Nachos

Second -- Quesadilla de Hongo

Third -- Mexican Buffalo Wings

Kedah: Parrot Espresso Cafe

First weekend in Alor Star!

To make it memorable, I've decided to go cafe hunt by myself, as a low profile blogger. LOL... I've been thinking which one to explore first and I decided to give Parrot Espresso Cafe a try.

This cafe located in Pekan Cina, Alor Star (Detailed address will be shared below)

Was planning to go there for lunch but they only serve coffees and cakes. I was like "WHAT?!" when I saw their menu. Starving and there are no food to satisfy my tummy. >.<

Ah well, I ordered a cup of cafe latte and also a slice of pandan layer cake (Recommended by P&F worker). I chose to go upstairs and explore their decoration, another reason is because I'm the only customer downstairs at that time. A bit awkward if I sit there alone and the workers staring at me. XD

Chose a window seat and enjoyed my me-time with this piggy.

Poor thing, a little broken.

There are 2 tables of customers, happily chit-chatting on sofa seats.

In the meantime, I'm alone, secretly taking selfie with the Kitty Sticker behind me. Coincidence.

After a while, my cake and coffee are here!

Pandan layer Cake (RM6.90), Cafe Latte (RM6.80), and piggy (priceless).

Penang: Namoo Korean Dessert Cafe

#throwback
Writing this throwback post because I'm craving for Korean Food badly now. =(
I tried Namoo Korean Dessert Cafe twice, once in Publika for their famous sweet potato cake and bingsu, and this post is about my second try in Gurney Plaza. I remember I like the sweet potato cake, but not the bingsu. Bingsu is too over-priced and I think those ais kacang that costs me RM3 is tastier. =P

I visited Namoo in Gurney Plaza with my babe. I'm missing her now! Thanks to KKM, we are separated =S Not too far apart, but I still haven't meet her since I start working. I need to talk to people who knows me well. I love my new friends here, but I need some time to make myself more talkative to my new friends. I'm slow.

Well, back to this cafe.

The menu! Obviously, it is a fusion of Korean and Western cuisine -- saw Korean Western?
That's why, they have rice burgers, and also fish and chips here. Of course, you can also find bibimbab and kimchi here too.

I like their logo -- cute right?

The dining area.
This restaurant is very quiet compared to other restaurants, on a Friday night. Hmmmm......

Some decoration of the cafe behind our table.

We ordered a hot stone chicken bibimbab and Soya & honey ttuk bok ki to share. Food was served about 10-15 minutes later. Quite fast. Maybe it is because we are the only customers. So, I can't comment if they serve fast or slow.

Our food.

Kedah: Restoran Aminres

#throwback

First week in Kedah and I had problem looking for dinner place. I tried to find some restaurants using my waze but I failed to locate them. Sigh.... Randomly, I drove around the town and spotted a Nasi Kandar shop. As I was already starving that time, I decided to give it a try. Never try, never know. As a food explorer (konon-nya), I have to try as much as I could.

And so, here I am -- trying out Nasi Lemak in Restoran Aminres.

It is quite a huge restaurant, not difficult to search.

I ordered Nasi Lemak and chose fried egg and chicken
(I think that's rendang chicken - not sure though)
