Taiping Lake Garden

Taiping Lake Garden, a place where all locals (Taiping lang) are familiar with. A jogging spot. A photo-shoot spot (especially for wedding photos). A tourist-must-visit spot. What I like about this place is the peacefulness that I can find whenever I dropped by and also the beauty of nature. Whenever I'm free, I'll take my camera and drive out to lake garden for a few shots.

What's so nice about Lake Garden? It is one of the historical "FIRST" in Taiping --> First Public Garden in Malaya, spread over 64 hectares. Lake Garden is not just a lake with some tress around. It has 10 scenic lakes and ponds, lotus pool, bridges, jogging tracks, reflexology tracks, roller-skating rink, playgrounds and also plenty of plants, tress, flowers and also wildlife. (information from Tourism Malaysia) Monkeys are quite common but they will not harm if we do no harm. =) Oh ya, not to forget, you can enjoy paddleboat rides here too!

When you see this, you're at the right place! Lake garden is basically a big circle. So you can enjoy the scenery while driving around, if you're scare of hot sun.

Something NEW in lake garden. Check it out! I haven't try that. So, no information at the moment. Will keep everyone updated after I've tried. Hehe...

Raintrees! Also known as "angsana". There's plenty of them in lake garden, which is really beautiful. They are all very historical. 

I always see many locals doing their morning exercise around this area. Healthy lifestyle. Awesome. =)

From here, you can jog along the walkway to look for the clock tower (far away, on the right of the photo)

One of the playground. It is just beside McDonald's Taiping Lake Garden. Another playground is opposite Zoo Taiping (which is also located in Lake Garden). 

You can drive like them and take a sightseeing tour around Lake Garden. XD

Apart from trees and lakes/ponds, I also like searching for beautiful flowers in Lake Garden.

Dear flowers, haze is everywhere and thankfully you're still so pure white.

Close-up! Roses are red, "blossom-like" flowers in Taiping are purple. Hmmm... I smell SPRING!

One of the artist in Taiping drew something for MH370 on the backdoor of Zoo Taiping. SEE!!

It has been a "local"-spot and this is quite famous on facebook/instagram.
