Langkawi: Cable Car & Tanjung Rhu

If you are in Langkawi for the first time, cable car is a must-visit place. This is a place where you can enjoy the terrific cable car ride and fantastic view from the top.

The cable car ride is quite steep.
I felt a little scared and have to stop taking photos at some point. XD

Cable cars ahead!

Spotted cute clouds at the horizon.

Sky bridge! View from cable car.

Great view of Langkawi from the the observation deck.

I love the blue sky, clouds and mountains.

Sky bridge from observation deck.

Us with the blue sky.
I think we can use this photo to get some toothpaste advertisement. XD

To get to sky bridge, you need to jungle trek for 10 minutes. Climb some stairs and and walk a distance. So tiring. It was much better compared to the first time (longer path), but hair still get messy after the walk. T_T

Another photo before leaving sky bridge.
So hard to climb up here, surely we should take more photos.

After 2 hours in Oriental Village, we proceed to Tanjung Rhu for sunset and dinner. I have been looking forward to visit Tanjung Rhu as it is known as a quiet but beautiful beach. If you want to find a beach to enjoy the beach without crowd, Tanjung Rhu is your choice. It is much peaceful compared to Pantai Cenang and they do have water sports here.

Beach with few people. Beautiful soft sand and blue sky. =D

Panorama view of Tanjung Rhu beach.

We decided to have our early dinner at Scarborough Fish & Chip Restaurant as it is located by the beach and we can get a good view of sunset.

Most strategic seats are occupied hence we decided to get a table inside.

Enjoy a mug of beer while watching sunset. So relaxing! Beer is so cheap here! A mug for RM6.

One of my favourite photo. Sleeping dog with sunset.

Imperfect sunset but I still enjoyed the peacefulness.

Group photo again. =D
It is really hard for us to gather together. Enjoy this precious moment.

We ordered a fish & chip and grilled chicken. Doesn't look very appealing but it is ok overall. Not very good, but the big fat chips still get to satisfy my taste. I miss fat chips back in Aussie.

At night, we went to shop for some cheap chocolates and alcohols at duty free zone. Then, we went back to our hotel to chat and rest. Island getaway is suppose to be like this, chill and relax. =D
