KL: Tokyo Pastry

Remember about my post for The Library Coffee Bar days ago? This should come after that post, but is being delayed due to laziness. Sorry!!

After having our breakfast at The Library Coffee Bar, we went to walk around KLCC and find it really boring walking aimlessly. So, we decided to find a place to sit down and talk. There's too much choices in KLCC and hence we went back Avenue K. Less shops, less choices, less headache.

As none of us are hungry, we decided to find a dessert shop and Tokyo Pastry is just nearby. =D so yes, we went into Tokyo Pastry and decided to try their desserts. They did offer set lunch, which is not too good according to our friends. Set lunch came with a soup (freaking small) and a drink.

When guys are enjoying their set lunch, we girls ordered dessert!!

Friend's hot chocolate and tiramisu crepe. It was ok. I really don't know how to comment about a crepe. Not my type of cake. Too much cream in general.

KL: Restaurant Clan 大家城点心茶楼

#throwback

I've tried Restaurant Clan for 3 times-- dine in once, takeaway from a friend 2 years back and takeaway with family. I heard my friend saying that their Kai Wo Pao (鸡窝包) is very famous. I've tried it 2 years back and it is quite nice. This year, I have the chance to buy them back for all my family members. Good that they like it. =)

Dim sum in this restaurant are nice too! Price is quite reasonable. Maybe because it is a shop by roadside, without air-cond. They have different kind of paos (buns) here too. Quite creative.

The restaurant! Look for the word - 鸡窝包!
The name tells you that you have to order this pao when you're here. XD

Sunway: Coffee Coffea

Just realized that I always visit Coffee Coffea in Sunway Pyramid with my sister. XD First visit was to try out their Peanut Butter Latte and it turns out to be very sweet for us. Yes, they are very kind with their ingredients and it taste as if we are drinking/eating a bottle of peanut butter. Guilty much. Haha...

Second visit to Coffee Coffea Sunway Pyramid was with sister and a friend. They accompanied me to shop for my graduation dress in Sunway Pyramid and we went Coffee Coffea for tea time. =) I ended up not getting any dress in the mall, but feed myself with more food.

We decided to try their cakes as we always see people takeaway/dine in there. Being curious, we ordered a slice of carrot cake, tiramisu and also cinnamon bun. We also ordered a cup of cappuccino to share (we are all afraid that we could not sleep at night... Zzz...)

Here's our cup of cappuccino with latte art.
It looks like a bear, but it looks like a dog in some angle. Ah well, it's cute overall.
Coffee is good and worth a thumb up!

KL: Waku Waku

#throwback

There's one day that I messed up a lunch with my long lost friend. I walked around MidValley from 1.30pm to 2.45pm. Wandering around. Then I decided to grab a lunch alone. Where to eat? A big problem as I was quite frustrated that time and I can't think properly. XD So I decided to go for something I crave the most that time - Japanese.

That moment, I want to try something new, but not too far from where I'm standing (which is near the exhibition hall). Hah! Waku Waku is just in front of me! With my state of hunger level 100, I walked to the restaurant right away, without hesitation.

The Menu

Look inside menu! The colour is very tempting for a hungry person.

KL: The Library Coffee Bar

The Library Coffee Bar is newly open in Avenue K. Yes, it is a coffee bar, not The Library where you go for beer/wine with friends. =D My friend showed me about this cafe before my short trip back KL. Hence we decided to try it together. A breakfast with my cute future-pharmacists!

As it is The Library, so prepare for books and book shelves! =D Not hard to find this coffee bar as it is located at a corner, near Johnny Rockets.

Entrance!

Subang: The Burger Factory

There's a new burger place in SS15! The logo of the restaurant is a burger and it says it all. You can hardly missed this restaurant as it is located at a corner, same row as Coffee Coffea.

I tried this restaurant with my burger hunt partner. I don't know why I always have burger as dinner whenever I go out with him. Coincidence? We never thought about burger at first. Drove around SS15 and couldn't make up our minds. Then he said, have you tried the new burger place? Yeah! Always need someone to make a decision. So we ended up at Burger Factory after driving around for, maybe 10 minutes?

The restaurant has 2 floors and the design is quite simple, but comfy. Got the menu and it is pretty straightforward. One big sheet of menu (Something like the one in Fat Boy's) and I still couldn't decide on what to eat. Good that I don't eat beef so that I have less choices. XD

Friend's beef burger. Sorry that I forgotten the name. But looks nice. =)

Penang: Harvest Inn Cafe

Are you sick of hawker food during your Penang trip? Want to try something different? There's a few cheap western restaurants in Penang that you can hunt for. Cheap, really cheap. And the environment can be very cozy.

I've tried 2-3 places and few weeks ago, I went to try another one -- Harvest Inn Cafe. Never heard of it during my college time. Penang friend suggested it to us when we say we're looking for a place for birthday dinner for the March baby.

Harvest Inn Cafe is located at a corner, and there's no big signboard. However, with waze's navigation, we could find the cafe easily. XD It is pretty simple and nice, and kinda crowded even when we went there around 8.30pm.

The building. It looks like a normal terrace house, with no sign of "Harvest Inn Cafe"
